Houseperson Duties:
Clean hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, employee break room, and other work areas
Assist room attendants with stripping linens from check-out rooms
Follow all regulations outlined in material safety data sheets when using chemicals
Vacuum, sweep, dust, and clean rooms to hotel standards
Replenish rooms with supplies, towels, and amenities
Assist with laundry
Assist the front desk and other departments with delivering guest amenities
Clean rooms as needed and serve as back-up support for housekeeping
Take initiative to greet guests in a friendly, warm, and professional manner
Van Driver Duties:
Safely transport guests to and from the Tri-Cities Airport
Provide shuttle service to guests within a short distance of the hotel, as designated by hotel policy
Offer friendly, helpful guest service during all transport activities
Maintain cleanliness of the hotel shuttle vehicle
Follow all hotel safety procedures and traffic regulations
Ensure timely and efficient pickup and drop-off schedules
A valid driver’s license is required for the Van Driver responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or GED preferred
Previous Housekeeping Experience Preferred
Attention to detail and excellent communication skills
Creative thinker with strong problem-solving abilities
Prior customer service experience
Must hold a valid driver’s license
Available to work as early as 4 AM and as late as 10 PM, including weekends and holidays
SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS:
Candidates must have flexible availability. This role includes day and night shifts, extended hours depending on business needs, and mandatory weekend and holiday availability.
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS:
Must be able to walk, stand, and bend for extended periods. Ability to grasp, grip, pull, push, twist, turn, and lift boxes averaging 25-30 lbs; up to 50 lbs with assistance. Must also be able to maneuver housekeeping carts weighing up to 110 lbs.
