Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Operations Associate to join our event rental team! The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse, ensuring that rental items are received, stored, and dispatched in a timely manner. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations and safety protocols, as well as the willingness to travel to weekend events and the ability to operate various types of equipment and rides.
Duties
- Completes shipments by processing and loading rental orders.
- Prepares rental orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; placing orders in delivery staging area.
- Completes deliveries by driving vehicles to and from customer locations and unloading/reloading.
- Cleaning heavy bounce houses, tents, and other rental equipment.
- Sets up and tears down inflatables, tents, and rides at customer location.
- Staffs inflatable and other rides at weekend festivals and events as necessary
- Provides quality service by following organization standards.
- Preserves safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat.
- Promotes clean shipping supply area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Completes reports by entering required information.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with inventory control.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse operations.
- Proficient in operating heavy equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to lift or push heavy items (100 lbs ) and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Knowledge of equipment maintenance.
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork mentality.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
- Driving/towing skills and good driving record with ability to pass DOT physical
