We are seeking a motivated and skilled Appliance Technician to join our dynamic field service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of household appliances, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and more. Your expertise will ensure our customers receive prompt, reliable service that exceeds expectations. Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair various household appliances using schematics and technical manuals.
- Perform mechanical and electrical repairs on appliances such as refrigeration units, HVAC systems, and other equipment.
- Interpret technical diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently.
- Conduct appliance installations, assemblies, and routine maintenance to ensure optimal operation.
- Assist with appliance delivery using a box truck or similar vehicle, ensuring safe handling and setup at customer locations.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and addressing customer questions professionally.
- Maintain accurate records of service visits, repairs performed, parts used, and follow-up requirements.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in appliance repair or as a service technician with a strong mechanical background.
- Knowledge of schematics, electrical systems, refrigeration, HVAC systems, and equipment repair techniques.
- Prior experience as a delivery driver or in roles involving box trucks is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively.
- Ability to read technical diagrams and perform troubleshooting based on schematics.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience to handle diverse repair tasks.
- Field service experience demonstrating adaptability in various work environments is highly desirable.
