Technician positions will respond to and perform activities in support of emergency mitigation services.

- Starting pay is: $18.00-$25.00 an hour
Responsibilities:
- Respond to service calls for water, fire and mold damage at the direction of management.
- Make the initial physical contact with a new customer to orient the customer about the company’s services needed to mitigate their property.
- Perform all necessary tasks to complete the services required at the customer’s property which will include demolition work, working with or without other technicians and with machinery and tools as required and available. These core job tasks, however, are essentially the same for every project.
- All Technicians are subject to abide by Company Health and Safety Policies, as well as always maintaining personal and workplace safety. Mitigation Technicians may be required to wear personal protective equipment and must adhere to all safety protocols.
- Assist in resolving customer concerns and complaints, coordinating with other employees/team members in customer service support and management
- Responsible for completing necessary paperwork and other supporting information to document performance of services in a timely manner.
- May be required to communicate with third party representatives in support of the project.
- Keep appointments to ensure project is on schedule for completion and customer is aware of latest developments
- Other associated tasks may be required to facilitate completion of services.
- Other associated tasks as assigned by Manager
Qualifications:
- High School education or equivalent (i.e., GED, etc.)
- IICRC training and certifications that are required – WDRT, ASDT and/or AMRT.
- Valid Driver’s license – copy of current driving history issued by DMV
- Previous experience in water restoration sales and customer relations, or other related fields
- Familiarity with Xactimate pricing
- Good customer service skills; the ability to build rapport with clients and other third party
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong communications skills both written and oral
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Experience in mitigation for commercial buildings a plus, i.e. hotel, restaurants, retail stores, etc.
Expectations
- Job Type: Full-time
- Office Hrs. are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, M-F. Technician with rotating schedules as needed.
