The individual also will be involved with other day to day operational projects and assist other facilities staff as assigned. Qualifications /Education / Skills Required: • High school diploma required. • Good mechanical knowledge, vocational school helpful. • Ability to follow written instructions in reference to work orders, constructing, installations, etc. • Ability to safely use hand and some power tools. • Ability to communicate well with managers, co-workers, hospital staff, patients and visitors. • Conducts him/herself as a self-directed professional, courteous attitude, works independently with minimal supervision, and strive for continuous quality improvement. • NYS certification for Asbestos O & M preferred.
