Position Summary:
The Sanitation Worker is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all equipment after production to ensure food safety, managing the clean-up of all other production areas according to the requirements and procedures of the department.

Position Summary:
The Sanitation Worker is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all equipment after production to ensure food safety, managing the clean-up of all other production areas according to the requirements and procedures of the department.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Hand wash equipment with chemical cleaner and wipe equipment
- Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to specifications
- Use vacuum cleaner and air gun to clean equipment
- Sanitize production lines after cleaning
- Remove garbage from production area
- Gather and empty trash
- Clean floor mopping, sweeping, scrubbing or vacuuming
- Keep sanitation equipment/room clean and tidy
- Service and clean restrooms if assigned
- Clean and polish furniture and a variety of surfaces as assigned
- Notify supervisor of any needs for repairs
- Ensure food safety and quality
- Other duties may be assigned
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a similar role
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage time effectively and efficiently
- Ability to speak, read and write English
- Must be able to work with chemicals and other cleaning agents
- Able to stand and walk around for long periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Able to work shift work including graveyard shifts and weekends as required
- Ability to learn our business, be a team player and enjoy working in a team-oriented environment.
