Position Summary: The Steward will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all hotel china, silverware, glassware, and cookware, as well as maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen environment. This position will also be responsible for helping the kitchen team plat up food, and the banquet servers in preparation of serving the guests during events.
Detailed Description:
- Work with the team towards achieving exceptional guest service results.
- Assist with creating logical processes for setting up equipment, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring the proper handling of kitchen equipment and tableware.
- Follow all safety protocols, at all times.
- Maintain an organized work environment for all equipment, china, and silverware.
- Assist with creating solutions for day-to-day challenges.
- Assist with the maintenance and preventive maintenance of all kitchen & dish room equipment.
- Ensure all supplies are stocked each shift.
- Abide by all organizational policies and procedures.
