Education/Experience:
- Three (3) to Five (5) years’ equivalent experience required.
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Blueprint reading for manufacturing prints, geometric tolerance, finish requirements, and manufacturing notes.
- 3-5 years’ experience as CNC Machinist including the ability to perform own part setups.
- Ability to set-up 3 or 4 jaw lathe(s) with minimal supervision and without causing damage to parts or equipment.
- Ability to distinguish between different types of threaded connections, sizes and be familiar with all types of products manufactured by PQES.
- Ability to perform job duties with Quality and Quantity in mind.
- Must be able to setup and use MRP Gauges and other inspection equipment.
- Ability to follow a work schedule and flow for completion of parts in timely manner.
- Assist in controlling tooling inventory and tooling use.
- Problem solving skills i.e., Speed and feed to reduce chatter.
- Basic computer skills (email, MS Office) and good communication skills.
- Must be self-directed and exhibit a strong ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Lifting required of parts, tools, and accessories of parts up to 50 lbs.
- Operation of overhead hoist/crane, with safety in mind, for larger parts, greater than 50 lbs.
- Climbing up to 5 ft. (Operation of crane).
- Must be able to work overtime and weekends as required.
- Other duties as required.
Other Skills:
- Experience as CNC Programmer using CAM software with an understanding of G-Code and M-Code CNC Programming is a plus.
- Experience with Premium Threads (JFE, VAM, etc.) a Plus.
- Adaptable to changing schedules.
- Must be detailed oriented.
- Team attitude required.
- Good vision, corrected vision acceptable.
- Ability to work any shift and overtime (limited requirement).
Salary : $22 - $25
