We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist with a minimum of 5yrs experience to run Mazak Power Master, M-5 Lathe, and Mazak Integrex. Working knowledge of Mazatrol a plus. Duties
- Operate CNC milling machines and CNC lathes
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings
- Set up tooling, fixtures, and workpieces efficiently while adhering to safety standards and quality requirements.
- Conduct precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and other precision instruments to verify dimensions.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Support lean manufacturing initiatives by optimizing workflows, reducing waste, and maintaining a clean work environment.
Experience
- Five years plus experience operating CNC milling machines and CNC lathes in a manufacturing environment required.
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages such as G-code and M-code; experience with Fanuc controls is preferred.
- Skilled in reading blueprints and mechanical drawings accurately.
- Mechanical knowledge of tooling setup, calibration of precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and CMMs.
- Ability to work safely with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, forklifts, and other manufacturing tools.
- Basic math skills for calculating dimensions and tolerances; understanding of lean manufacturing principles is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills; capable of working independently or as part of a team.
