Your Role in the 7th Avenue Experience
We’re looking for a Lead Local Delivery Driver to oversee our Bay Area white glove delivery and assembly team. This role is essential in ensuring our customers receive a premium delivery experience while maintaining operational excellence in our warehouse and transportation processes. You’ll lead a team of drivers and assemblers, handle daily deliveries, maintain inventory accuracy, and serve as the communication bridge between drivers, local operations, and leadership.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Supervise and support a team of delivery drivers and assemblers
- Lead daily delivery operations including routing, logistics, and customer service
- Perform ride-alongs, audits, and provide coaching to ensure consistent team performance
- Troubleshoot delivery or customer service issues and resolve them promptly
- Maintain accurate warehouse inventory and perform regular cycle counts
- Step in to drive and deliver customer orders as needed
- Ensure safety, DOT compliance, and adherence to all local delivery standards
- Collaborate with the Local Operations and Management teams to ensure service excellence
What You’ll Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role (delivery/warehouse experience preferred)
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Experience in warehouse environments and managing inventory
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in all weather conditions
- Flexible schedule: mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- A customer-first mindset and ability to lead by example
