Customer Service Representative - $25.00/hour

Overview

As a call center representative, you are the first point of contact for people calling the main customer service line. You answer questions, take and update customer orders, route calls, and help resolve issues while delivering a professional, high quality caller experience.

What you will do

• Handle incoming calls, provide excellent customer service on every call, and maximize sales when possible
• Take customer orders, answer questions on products, prices, and availability, and enter orders accurately into the system
• Listen carefully and resolve customer complaints or escalate them through the proper channels
• Field and route calls to the right store teams, managers, or departments as needed
• Document all relevant details from each call clearly and completely
• Serve as an information resource on products, store locations, delivery services, promotions, and new offerings
• Support in store teams when needed and help keep communication flowing between call center and store staff
• Maintain up to date knowledge of store policies, product lines, and services
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the manager

What you bring

• Prior experience in customer service, sales, or administrative support
• Pleasant, professional phone manner and a focus on delivering a strong caller experience
• Ability to handle a high volume of calls and orders in a fast paced environment
• Strong communication and relationship building skills for direct contact with customers
• Comfort working with customers, coworkers, and managers at all levels
• Solid computer and typing skills
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and ability to multi task
• Willingness to learn product lines quickly and keep knowledge current
• Flexible schedule, including availability on weekends and holidays
