Responsibilities
- Perform interventional radiology procedures with precision and skill
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient assessments
- Communicate with patients regarding their treatment plans and procedures
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Participate in continuous education and training to stay current with medical advancements
- Conduct research to support evidence-based practice
- Mentor junior medical staff and provide guidance on complex cases
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory standards in patient care
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Completion of residency in Radiology
- Board certification or eligibility in Interventional Radiology
- Strong understanding of interventional techniques and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Commitment to continuous professional development and education
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Call: 1:4 weeknights and weekends
Setting: 2 IR suites and a hybrid IR
Responsibilities: Perform procedures excluding breast procedures
Must be board-eligible
Breast read experience is not required but is preferred.
