Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients with cardiovascular conditions
- Diagnose and create treatment plans for patients
- Perform and interpret diagnostic tests, such as echocardiograms or stress tests
- Collaborate with other medical professionals to provide integrated patient care
- Educate patients and families on cardiovascular health and treatment options
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records
- Stay updated on advancements in cardiology and medical practices
- Participate in case discussions and ongoing training sessions
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Valid medical license to practice in the state
- Board certification in Cardiology or eligibility for board certification
- Strong clinical skills and experience in patient care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to continuous professional development and learning
- Experience in a similar role is preferred
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p
25 beds
Daily Volume: 10-12 patients
Support Staff: Medical assistant
EMR: Cerner
Must be board-certified
