Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our team. As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality parts and components. Your attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings will be crucial in ensuring the accuracy and precision of the finished products.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC machines according to specifications
Load raw materials into the machine and ensure proper alignment
Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary
Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during production
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times
Documenting Travelers fully and accurately including part counts
Deburring of parts after machining
Packing of finished product
Skills
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
Proficiency in using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools for quality control purposes
Knowledge of CNC programming and ability to interpret technical drawings
Experience operating CNC machines, including machining centers and lathes
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools effectively
Understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) principles
Knowledge/ Experience of the following preferred:
- HAAS, FANUC, OR HEIDENHAIN Controls
-3 years of machining experience
- Some lathe experience required
