Event & Venue Sales Coordinator Position Overview
715 Harrison (City Nights) is seeking a highly motivated sales professional to lead venue sales, drive event revenue, and expand market presence through strategic marketing and relationship-building efforts for private events. This position does not entail any responsibility with our staple weekend in house night club events.
The Event & Venue Sales Coordinator is responsible for generating new business, managing the sales pipeline, converting leads into booked events, and achieving established revenue goals. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for prospective clients and will oversee the full sales cycle from inquiry through contract execution and payment collection.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a proven track record in venue sales, hospitality sales, event sales, business development, or event marketing. They are highly organized, results-driven, and motivated by achieving ambitious sales goals while building lasting client relationships.
This is a sales driven position with unlimited commission with no cap.
Key ResponsibilitiesVenue Sales & Revenue Generation
- Own and manage the venue's sales pipeline from lead generation through signed contract.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and revenue goals.
- Proactively identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities.
- Generate qualified leads through networking, referrals, outreach campaigns, industry partnerships, and community engagement.
- Conduct venue tours, discovery calls, and client presentations.
- Prepare customized proposals and pricing packages.
- Negotiate contracts and close business in alignment with company goals.
- Maintain an active pipeline of future business to support venue revenue targets and calendar utilization.
- Develop strategies to increase booking volume during historically slower periods.
Client & Contract Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective clients throughout the sales process.
- Manage inquiries and ensure timely follow-up on all leads.
- Draft, execute, and maintain event contracts and amendments.
- Coordinate invoicing, deposits, payment schedules, and final balances.
- Monitor payment deadlines and ensure timely collection of all client payments.
- Maintain accurate records within CRM and sales management systems.
- Provide detailed event information and handoff documentation to internal production and operations teams.
Reporting & Performance Management
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reporting.
- Track key sales metrics including conversion rates, booking volume, lead generation, and revenue performance.
- Present regular sales reports and forecasts to leadership.
- Continuously evaluate sales performance and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Event Marketing & Business Development
- Develop and execute marketing initiatives that increase venue visibility and generate qualified event inquiries.
- Build and maintain relationships with event planners, corporate clients, nonprofit organizations, agencies, promoters, and community partners.
- Represent the venue at networking events, industry functions, trade shows, and community events.
- Identify new markets, industries, and opportunities for venue growth.
- Collaborate on promotional campaigns, advertising efforts, and sales initiatives that support revenue objectives.
- Track lead sources and evaluate marketing performance to maximize return on investment.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in venue sales, event sales, hospitality sales, event marketing, or a related field.
- Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding sales quotas and revenue targets.
- Strong closing, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience managing contracts, proposals, and client communications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities and deadlines simultaneously.
- Experience with CRM platforms such as Tripleseat and sales reporting tools preferred.
- Knowledge of event production, venue operations, or hospitality environments preferred.

Base Salary: $45-60,000 DOE, 8-10% Commission
