Experienced In Home Caregiver

This is a licensed & experienced position - we require a WA state CNA or HCA license, proof of enrollment in an active course, or the ability to obtain your WA state license through our training program with at least 1-2 yrs of experience. We also offer a free Nurse Delegation Certification course to all WA state caregivers!

Pay rate: $22-$24.00/hr

Service areas: Skagit, Whatcom, and Island Counties

Current Client Zoning Needs:

• Whatcom County: Bellingham, Blaine, Everson, Ferndale, Lynden, Sumas
• Skagit County: Mt. Vernon, Burlington, La Conner, Sedro Woolley
• Island County: Camano Island

Current Client Hours Needed (Examples, Subject to Change):

• Client 1: Bellingham, WA - Mon to Fri 11am to 4pm
• Client 2: Oak Harbor, WA - 7pm to 3am (NOC SHIFT), 9am to 1pm (Split Shift)
• Client 3: Burlington, WA - 8:30am to 12:30pm Sat, 8:30am to 1:30pm Sun

Plus

• Comfortable with working fill-in shifts
• Weekend coverage a plus!
• Memory care experience
• Comfortable with cats and dogs - most of our clients have pets
• Availability ranging from 8am to 8pm Mon - Fri
• Caregivers with Hoyer Lift or Gait Belt experience
• Ability to transport clients in personal vehicle

Caregiver Job Duties

• Household chores (cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc.)
• Cooking and/or serving meals
• Helping clients bathe, dress, and groom
• Providing companionship through daily activities and hobbies
• Transporting clients for errands or appointments in your car
• Assisting with gait belt or Hoyer transfers
• Monitoring and reporting on their condition
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years professional caregiving experience
• Active WA State CNA or HCA
• Ability to take our WA HCA training program if not licensed, subject to approvals
• 18 years of age or older
• Ability to pass a state and national background check
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and clean driving record
• Ability to lift 50lbs
• Ability to provide more than companionship care and work with different care levels
• Smart phone

Additional Information

• Our hiring process is fast and simple! Apply and the recruiter in your region will connect with you to schedule a video interview. If hired, you will be scheduled for orientation at your branch as soon as 1 week. Once you have completed onboarding, orientation, and training, you can start working with clients!
