Job Overview

Join our dynamic and fast paced team at 7-Eleven as a Senior Director, IT Infrastructure and Cloud Support! In this role, you will provide visionary leadership and direction for our IT infrastructure, including data centers, networking, telephony, cloud environments, collaboration tools, end-user engineering, and desktop support. Your mission will be to create and execute a robust infrastructure strategy that supports our enterprise operations and drives innovation.

This role is onsite full-time and can be based out of our headquarters in Irving, TX or Enon, OH.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a long-term infrastructure strategy and roadmap, leading our network, computing, and end-user computing teams. Servant leader with a bias for action and sense of urgency.
• Team Development: Inspire and lead a global team in multiple locations. Communicate IT goals and vision and ensure alignment with overall IT strategy. Set organizational goals, provide constructive feedback, design performance evaluations, and implement succession planning.
• Technical Leadership and Solutions: Provide technical leadership in sustaining all IT solutions to support business needs. Leverage your extensive business strategy knowledge to develop technology solutions that support our business needs.
• Business Partnership: Collaborate with business stakeholders such as store leadership, operations, legal, procurement, digital and finance to identify infrastructure needs and opportunities for cost reduction and enhanced service.
• Project Management: Plan and execute a transformation portfolio of projects, network/desktop refresh, cloud migration multi cloud processing is to name a few. In addition, managing capital and expense budgets to achieve desired outcomes in data centers, stores, network, cloud, and end-user domains.
• Financial Acumen: Apply financial and budgeting concepts to effectively plan, manage, and implement cost controls, optimizing capital and expense spend.
• Service Level Management: Monitor high volume ticket queues to ensure SLAs are met, manage outage notifications, and keep customers informed on resolution progress. Work with the team to troubleshoot and analyze hardware and software failures, creating effective solutions.
• Asset Management: Ensure 7-Eleven assets are purchased, tracked, optimized, and refreshed, maintaining high-quality baseline support and controlling costs.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree (4-year degree).
• Experience: 10 years in IT infrastructure, project/portfolio management, and vendor management.
• Functional expertise with Cloud applications required with Azure and AWS highly preferred. Cloud and PMP Certifications are beneficial
• Retail Technology: Experience in the retail technology domain, multi-unit or high-volume transaction processing.
• Technical Expertise: Broad knowledge of applications and infrastructure with a strong technical background.
• Vendor Management: Expertise in managing large multi-year and multi-million-dollar vendor agreements.
• Customer Service: Outstanding customer service skills, effectively resolving difficult and sensitive issues.
• Team Development: Strong management skills with the ability to develop teams and cultivate talent.
• Financial Management: Proven ability to manage annual budgets across multiple cost centers.
• 15-25% travel will be expected to regional and global offices.
