Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of QA Automation Engineers.

- Foster collaboration between QA, development, product, and business teams.
- Drive a culture of innovation, accountability, and quality ownership.
- Maintain the QA Lav environment
- Define and implement scalable test automation strategies and frameworks.
- Guide the team in building automation frameworks from scratch where needed.
- Ensure best practices in test automation, including maintainability, scalability, and reusability.
- Oversee test coverage across UI, API, and performance testing layers.
- Contribute to user story definition, ensuring testability and risk mitigation.
- Identify business risks and ensure they are addressed through testing strategies.
- Review and approve test plans, test cases, and test execution reports.
- Drive adoption of TDD, BDD (Gherkin) practices across teams.
- Lead the overall End-End Testing of Store Systems team and coordinate the efforts across internal and external teams, as needed.
- Actively participate in SCRUM ceremonies and ensure QA integration in Agile workflows.
- Define and enforce quality gates within CI/CD pipelines.
- Continuously improve QA processes and efficiency through automation and tooling.
- Ensure integration of test automation within CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or similar).
- Oversee usage of testing tools such as:
- Selenium WebDriver
- Cypress
- Karate
- JMeter
- Guide implementation of cloud-based testing solutions using:
- AWS (Lambda, Step Functions, CloudWatch)
- Align QA practices with modern web applications built using Node.js and MongoDB.
Required Qualifications
- 10 years of overall QA experience with at least:
- 6 years in QA Automation
- 4 years in a QA leadership or managerial role
- Hands-on experience in building automation frameworks from scratch.
- Strong background in web application testing and development.
Programming & Development
- Strong expertise in at least one programming language:
- JavaScript, Java, C#, or similar
- Experience with modern web technologies and architectures.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Selenium WebDriver
- Cypress
- Karate
- JMeter (performance testing)
- Minimum 2 years experience with:
- MongoDB
- Node.js
- AWS (Lambda, Step Functions, CloudWatch)
- Experience with:
- Jenkins or similar CI/CD tools
- Pipeline design and implementation
- Integrating automation into CI/CD workflows.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Test case design and test planning
- TDD, BDD (Gherkin)
- Risk-based testing
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
