Linux System Administrator, Senior The Opportunity: Install systems on dedicated infrastructure, ensure the infrastructure is functional and available, and update and patch critical systems. Provide customers with insight into their network through monitoring and performance management. Identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission-critical network. You Have: 5 years of experience with systems administration Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux or CentOS Experience with managing virtual machines and VMware ESXi Knowledge of Linux iptables, networking configuration, and DNS Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam HS diploma or GED Ability to obtain DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II Compliant Certification within 60 days of start date Nice If You Have: Experience with AWS DevOps or Cloud Formation Experience with infrastructure as Code (IaC), such as SaltStack or Ansible Experience with Python, YAML, or JSON DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II Compliant Certification Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
