Overview
The Digital Innovation Manager will be responsible for managing the innovation process as it related to the strategy of Catalyst by Wellstar and its focus areas: Digital Health, Customer Experience, Supply Chain/ Logistics/ Mobility, Sustainability, Future of Work, and Data/Analytics/Security.
They solve problems, manage pilots and proof of concepts through the innovation cycle and drives usability and efficiency. They are responsible for managing the demand of internal innovation as it juxtaposes to the external supply of cross-industry emerging transformations. They own the innovation process and bring new healthcare technologies and partnerships to life.
This position must be filled by someone who is entrepreneurial-minded and passionate about working throughout the innovation process to bring new healthcare technologies and partnerships to life. As an early member of the team, you will have the opportunity to help set the foundation of the business while taking ownership of your innovation projects.
The manager will lead workstreams of innovation strategy and delivery projects, end-user problem definition, research and discovery, process/product mapping and future state redesign, product prototyping and development, pilot and validation, technology integration, and design and solutioning workshops. They will drive end-to-end digital transformations across business, technology, process, and people, creating value by reinventing the core of client business. They may support 2-4 projects for a defined period: including Request for Information (RFI) to Proof of Concept (PoC). They carefully design experiments to test critical assumptions. They will work with business lines to establish a business case for innovation and develop scorecard and requirements for solutions. Lead multi-disciplinary agile projects in the delivery of new digital services or the iteration of existing ones. Collaborate with marketing and operations leaders on digital branding, customer experience, and operational implementation, working to develop the culture and capabilities for digital delivery to become fully embedded. Collaborate across multiple internal teams to ensure successful delivery of results based on scope of work.

Required Minimum Education:
- Bachelor's Degree Required
- Master's Degree Preferred
Required Minimum Experience:
- Minimum 4-7 years’ experience in business and strategy, consulting, corporate innovation, or healthcare technology Required
Required Minimum Skills:
- Understanding of enterprise IT systems capabilities and integration points
- Deep understanding of industry trends and emerging technology trends
- Consulting experience as a team or project lead a plus
- Must have a strong understanding of business acumen and ability to problem solve with strategic partners and cross functional teams
- Must have experience with design thinking and performing innovation cycles
- Experience with problem identification, business solutions, and relationship management
- Understanding and experience with change management during each phase of project cycle
- Understanding of technological capabilities as it relates to business strategy and enterprise IT systems
- Understanding of design thinking and innovation cycles
- Knowledge of startup principles (lean canvas, MVP, open innovation, etc.)
- Understanding of corporate business practices, organizational design, etc.
- Collaborate to understand business goals across functions and diplomatically challenge the statusquo
- Above-average consultative skills to understand problem sources and work to draw out deep pain points from business leaders
- Above-average ability to conduct research and communicate findings with clients
- Ability to perform experiments and other analysis’ on workflows and operations to understand processes, gaps, and opportunities
- Demonstrate deep insights into business models, trends and emerging technology
- Actively respect good work of teams and honor past accomplishments while pushing for necessary change
