The ideal candidate will bring experience in job cost accounting, excellent analytical skills, and a strong understanding of project billing processes. This role offers hands-on exposure to accounting operations and close collaboration with project management teams.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate on accounting projects, policies, and procedures to improve automation and efficiency.
- Record journal entries for monthly accounting activities, including job cost adjustments and accruals.
- Assist with monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and review general ledger accuracy.
- Prepare project billings and coordinate with project managers to resolve discrepancies.
Qualifications:
- 2–4 years of experience in construction accounting, with exposure to job costing and project billing.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and solid general ledger knowledge.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across departments.
