Fixed Asset Accountant

Our client is hiring a Staff Accountant to support Fixed Assets in Duluth, GA. This is a fully in-office role with a well-established national company that’s adding to its accounting team. You’ll report to the Fixed Asset Manager and play a hands-on part in the month-end close, reconciliations, and keeping the books clean and accurate. It’s a great next step for a Staff Accountant with a few years under their belt who wants deeper exposure to fixed assets and the full close cycle. You’ll have a team that leans on you and a role that gives you room to grow.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations as part of the monthly closeBalance the general ledger and support financial statement preparation
• Reconcile bank statements, accounts receivable, and accounts payable regularly to keep the data accurate and complete
• Keep vendor records current in the accounting system and help with collections and chargebacks

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2 years of accounting experience (Staff Accountant background is a great fit)
• Working knowledge of accounting systems and strong Excel skills
