What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physician Assistant Breast Surgery with Academic Medical Center in Reno/Tahoe position at 530308 Breast Surgery?
Renown Health, Northern Nevada's only not-for-profit integrated health system with the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine, is hiring an experienced NP or PA Breast Surgery.
Minimum of 2 years' Surgery Assist experience preferred. First Assist Certification is required for NPs.
Experience working with Oncology patients is an advantage.
The APP will provide First Assistance on all surgeries, as well as evaluate and consult patients in the Conrad Breast Center for post-operative follow-up.
Renown's Providers foster the teaching of residents and medical students from The University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine. Providers also have access to an established Research Department which provides support to coordinate clinical trials or take the opportunity to conduct research on the university campus.
Position Highlights
- Monday - Friday, 7 am to 5 pm
- 1st Assist all Surgeries - must be 1st assist certified
- 1:4 shared call rotation is part of this position taking calls for existing patients and potential rounding on admitted patients
