Role Description
This is a full-time remote position for a Benefits Advisor. The Benefits Advisor will be responsible for providing expert advice on employee benefits, effectively communicating plan options, and assisting clients in selecting optimal benefit packages. Daily activities include building relationships with clients, onboarding new accounts, managing ongoing correspondence regarding plan adjustments, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The role also involves delivering exceptional customer service and serving as a trusted resource for both clients and internal teams.
Qualifications
- Ability to evaluate, compare, and interpret employee benefits plans, as well as identify client needs
- Proficiency in communication, relationship building, and effective customer service
- Experience in project management to assist with onboarding and account management processes
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of compliance, regulations, and best practices for employee benefits
- Proficiency in using technology tools to manage benefit enrollment and education
- Bachelor's degree in business, HR, or a related field is preferred
- Previous benefits advising experience or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CEBS, SHRM-CP) is an advantage
