Street Sweeper Operator D1/D2

Street Sweeper Operator for the Denver Metro Area:

Key Responsibilities:

• Candidates with XBroom operations experience will be given priority.
• Operate commercial street sweeper equipment to clean streets, quarry sites, construction trackout areas, and paving/milling job sites.
• Inspect and maintain the street sweeper before and after each shift to ensure it is in safe and working condition.
• Perform independent work, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and in accordance with company quality standards.
• Submit detailed daily field tickets that include areas cleaned, time spent on each site, and any issues or maintenance needs encountered during the shift.
• Follow all safety protocols and local ordinances while performing sweeping duties.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and clients, reporting any challenges or equipment concerns.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of work completed during each shift.
• Assist with other cleaning or maintenance tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• Valid Driver’s License (CDL preferred) with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Proven experience in operating street sweeping equipment or similar heavy machinery.
• Strong ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on safety and high-quality results.
• Ability to submit accurate daily field tickets and maintain proper documentation.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, team members, and supervisors.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, late evenings, or weekends as required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Frequent bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, or rain.
• Capability to operate heavy machinery for extended periods while maintaining focus and precision.

D1- 2-3 years previous commercial driving experience. $19.50-24.00/hr

D2- 3 years previous sweeping experience, specifically in paving/milling $25.00 /hr

Pay: $19.50 - $29.00 per hour
