Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room environment.
- Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes during surgical procedures.
- Collaborate with surgeons and surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Administer medications and IV fluids as required during surgery.
- Implement and adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures.
- Document patient care and surgical procedures accurately and timely.
- Provide post-operative care and support to patients and their families.
- Participate in continuing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Current California RN license and BLS certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an operating room setting.
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong critical thinking skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Certification in ACLS and PALS preferred.
