About the Role:

Responsibilities:
- Provide speech pathology services to patients in the acute setting.
- Provide speech pathology services to patients with a wide range of medical diagnoses
- Perform clinical swallow evaluations, MBSS, FEES and treatment
- Perform communication/cognitive evaluation and treatment
Requirements:
- Current Speech language Pathologist license in the State of California.
- Current American Heart Association Healthcare provider BLS CPR
- Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
- Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
- Be able to provide coverage on ARU and the acute units
- Acute experience preferred.
