What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Workers - Finishing / Packaging position at 5 Generation Bakers?
5 Generation Bakers is local bakery that specializes in baking cinnamon swirl bread, as well as other bakery items. We're currently looking for production workers to start immediately at our bakery in McKees Rocks.
Monday through Friday base schedule, weekends as needed. This is a full time position averaging 40-45 hours per week. Hours could increase during busy seasons.
Employees are eligible for a benefit package including medical, dental, vision, & life insurance with employer contribution after 90 days, paid vacation after one year, and 401k retirement plan.
- Positions involve working at different stations in the bakery to produce and package baked goods.
- Sorting good product from bad
- Labeling boxes for finished products
- Rolling cinnamon bread in cinnamon sugar
- Running bread slicing machines and placing sliced bread into bags
- Packing finished products into boxes to be shipped
- Cleaning machines and area at the end of the shift or for changeovers
