Position Schedule:
- Shift rotation depends on the coverage needed: Monday – Friday: 7:50 AM to 5:00 PM or 8:50 AM to 6:00 PM
- Rotating Saturdays: 8:50 AM to 12:00 PM
Job Summary:
As a Floating Branch Lead, you'll provide outstanding service through a variety of financial transactions. All while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and a positive member experience. You will fill in and support operations at all 4U Credit Union branches as needed.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure the branch and vaults are opened and closed on time and in accordance with Credit Union policies and procedures.
- Maintain branch security and follow all established security procedures.
- Conduct operations in accordance with established Credit Union policies and procedures and all legal and regulatory requirements.
- Support implementation of changes to branch policies and procedures; assist the manager with daily branch operations as needed.
- Ensure all branch transactions are balanced at the close of each day, including teller drawers and daily deposits.
- Assist the teller line with member transactions during peak periods; process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and other member transactions.
- Open, close, and maintain member accounts, including certificate accounts and IRA accounts.
- Order checks, issue debit cards, and assist with debit card dispute handling.
- Release incoming wires and process outgoing wires.
- Rent and close safe deposit boxes, where applicable by branch.
- Support loan openings/closings by preparing, gathering, and posting required documentation; interview members, take applications, and collect information for loan requests as needed.
- Promptly resolve member requests and questions; counsel members on products and services to meet financial needs; cross-sell Credit Union services
- Attend required training and stay current on new operational procedures; assist Marketing as needed.
- Fill in and perform duties in branch positions as needed at all branches (floating coverage), including additional operational tasks (e.g., vault/ATM balancing, night depository processing, and cash deliveries) as assigned.
Physical Activities and Requirements:
- Talking: Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely.
- Hearing: Must be able to hear average conversations.
- Dexterity: Ability to make small movements with fingers for typing and handling small objects.
- Strength: Ability to exert up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally (mainly office tasks).
- Visual Abilities: Ability to prepare or inspect documents or products.
Mental Activities and Requirements:
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense and deal with problems involving a few variables.
- Mathematics: Ability to perform basic math, use decimals, and interpret graphs.
- Language: Ability to communicate effectively and write in complex sentences with proper punctuation.
