What You'll Be Doing
No two days are exactly alike, but your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting veterinarians during examinations and medical procedures
- Monitoring patients before, during, and after surgery
- Performing laboratory testing and collecting diagnostic samples
- Obtaining digital radiographs and assisting with ultrasound procedures
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
- Educating clients on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care
- Maintaining accurate medical records
- Helping keep our treatment and surgical areas organized and running efficiently
- Working closely with doctors and teammates to provide excellent patient care
What We're Looking For
We're searching for someone who is dependable, positive, and thrives in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Qualifications include:
- Minimum of two years of veterinary technician experience
- CVT certification preferred, but experienced technicians are encouraged to apply
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks throughout the day
- Comfortable working collaboratively with doctors and support staff
- Availability on Mondays and Saturdays
