We are seeking a dynamic and organized Dental Office Manager/Treatment Coordinator to lead our dental practice with enthusiasm and expertise. Duties
- Oversee daily clinic operations, including scheduling, billing, and patient flow management to maximize efficiency and patient satisfaction
- Coordinate treatment plans with patients, explaining procedures clearly and motivating them to pursue optimal oral health outcomes
- Supervise administrative staff, providing training, support, and performance evaluations to ensure high standards of medical administrative support and office management
- Manage financial aspects such as budgeting, billing accuracy, insurance claims processing (including managed care), and revenue cycle management using systems like Eaglesoft or Dentrix
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations, medical records management, and proper handling of medical terminology within electronic health record (EHR) systems like eClinicalWorks or Epic
- Lead human resources functions including hiring, onboarding, staff development, and conflict resolution within the practice team
- Maintain clinic accreditation standards such as JCAHO requirements and uphold quality assurance protocols in acute care or hospital-like settings when applicable
Skills
- Proven experience in dental office management or healthcare management with a focus on clinic experience and medical office experience
- Strong supervisory skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work environment
- Expertise in EMR/EHR systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, eClinicalWorks or Epic for efficient record keeping and billing processes
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance, medical terminology, medical records handling, and healthcare regulations
- Financial management skills including budgeting, fiscal oversight, utilization management, and revenue cycle optimization
- Excellent communication skills for effective treatment coordination and patient engagement
- Background in nursing or acute care is advantageous for understanding complex treatment plans and patient needs
