The Revenue Manager will work as part of the Finance Team to own and manage the global revenue process at 4G. Acting as the revenue recognition SME, you will support 4G’s efforts in building out systems and processes for scale and have global ownership of the revenue and billing function. The Revenue Manager will work as part of the Finance Team to own and manage the global revenue process at 4G. The Revenue Manager Is Responsible For The Following
- Manage the Order-to-Cash function including review of all sales contracts, oversee order entry into ERP system (NetSuite), invoicing and accounts receivable.
- Own the Company’s Revenue Recognition Policy in accordance with ASC 606 including keeping our internal memo up to date and performing an annual SSP analysis to support SSP estimates.
- Assess existing processes and build new processes to help the business scale and be a key point person and subject matter expert on the Advanced Revenue Module within NetSuite.
- Manage the design and operations of internal controls and policies and procedures related to revenue recognition and monthly close and reporting processes.
- Manage and optimize the monthly Cost of Sales accounting process. Including ownership of the automation between Tempo and NetSuite, completeness review for classification of Tempo Time reporting from JIRA ticketing system and collaborating with Technology and Operations to ensure accurate coding and procedure compliance.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of progressive revenue accounting experience, ideally in the software or professional services space
- Proficient in ASC 606 revenue standards
- Experience in performing reconciliation of all revenue-related balance sheet accounts (deferred revenue/unbilled/deferred commissions) on a monthly basis.
- Experience with NetSuite Advanced Revenue Module strongly preferred
- Experience with JIRA, Hubspot and Tempo a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite required
- Hybrid role - 2 days in office
- The candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in the field of Business, Accounting, or related field. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) a plus.
