Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Specialist to provide executive-level support and assist with internal and external communications. This role combines administrative coordination with public relations and content development, supporting leadership and ensuring effective communication across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level administrative support to executive leadership, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and travel arrangements
- Prepare and edit reports, presentations, briefings, and correspondence for internal and external communications
- Serve as a liaison between leadership, departments, external agencies, vendors, and the public
- Track projects, priorities, and deadlines to ensure timely completion of assignments
- Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive information and records
- Develop and refine written content including speeches, newsletters, emails, and social media messaging
- Support public relations efforts through press releases, media coordination, and communication strategies
- Assist with community outreach, public engagement initiatives, and promotion of programs and services
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in administrative support, executive assistance, communications, or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar tools
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday, 8:30AM – 5:00pm (with a 1-hour lunch).
