What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ice Rink Attendant (Seasonal) position at 4BBCorp?
Winter Wonderland is coming! We're looking for an Ice Rink Attendant to join our team in the City of Homestead.
You'll be responsible for:
- Welcome and greet guests in a friendly manner.
- Check in pre-registered guests or create a new reservation for walk up sales.
- Ensure proper fee or valid coupon is collected for session.
- Answer questions on policies, hours of operations, and other FAQs.
- Ensure proper maintenance, disinfection, and storage of ice skates.
- Assist patrons with proper sized ice skate rentals.
- Demonstrate how to secure, tighten, loosen buckles.
- Enforce rules on ice to maintain safety of all skaters.
- Inspect ice quality, report any divets/holes/cracks to the Ice Tech on duty.
- First Aid response/communication to team members.
- Perform other job-related duties as required by supervisor.
- Maintain clean event space: pick up garbage, sweep floors, straighten benches, etc.)
Qualifications:
- High school Diploma.
- Experience in the operation of an ice rink and/or roller skating facility preferred. Also, comparable experience in other recreational or entertainment venues, such as indoor trampoline parks, amusement parks, family entertainment centers, or similar facilities, may also be considered.
