Position Overview

We are seeking a Databricks Solution Architect with strong hands-on experience building enterprise Lakehouse platforms in Azure environments. This role focuses on designing scalable cloud-native data architectures, implementing Databricks solutions, and supporting enterprise analytics and data engineering initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Azure, Databricks, Lakehouse architecture, data engineering, and enterprise solution architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise-scale Databricks Lakehouse solutions
• Architect cloud-native data platforms using Microsoft Azure technologies
• Develop scalable and secure data engineering and analytics architectures
• Lead solution architecture activities across Azure and Databricks environments
• Design and optimize data ingestion, transformation, and processing pipelines
• Support enterprise data modernization and cloud transformation initiatives
• Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and business teams to define technical solutions
• Implement best practices for data governance, scalability, reliability, and performance
• Support integration of enterprise applications, APIs, and data platforms
• Provide technical leadership for Lakehouse architecture and Databricks implementation strategies
• Troubleshoot and optimize Databricks workloads and Azure-based data solutions
• Support architecture documentation, technical standards, and deployment planning

Required Qualifications

• 14 years of experience in data engineering, cloud architecture, or solution architecture
• 10 years of US-based professional experience required
• Strong expertise in Azure cloud technologies
• Strong hands-on experience with Databricks platform administration and architecture
• Strong expertise in Lakehouse architecture and implementation
• Experience designing enterprise-scale Azure Data Engineering solutions
• Strong understanding of cloud-native data platforms and distributed data processing
• Experience with application integration and enterprise architecture frameworks
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting enterprise analytics and data modernization programs
• Experience designing highly scalable and secure cloud data platforms
• Experience working in financial services or enterprise consulting environments
• Experience supporting hybrid delivery environments and distributed teams
