Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting
The Manager, Corporate Accounting, will focus on the accounting function and ensure accuracy of financial results and compliance with accounting pronouncements (U.S. GAAP). In this role, you will lead and manage the day-to-day accounting activities, including general ledger activity, account reconciliations, month-end, quarter, and year-end close processes. This individual will develop and coach a team of associates to be able to identify, manage, escalate, and effectively manage risk within areas of responsibility and demonstrate leadership in the advancement of team and organizational priorities.
Responsibilities
- Oversee accounting activities and functions, including close process, analysis, and reconciliations, establishing and maintaining accounting policies and procedures.
- Evaluates financial transactions to ensure they comply with generally accepted accounting principles.
- Assists with interim and year-end external audit, including the creation of month end, quarter end and year end schedules.
- Builds and leverages cross-functional teams in support of departmental objectives, ensuring the accounting team and their internal customers’ needs are met.
- Identifies and implements opportunities to improve and streamline current processes and procedures.
- Drives process improvement initiatives leading to implementation of best practices.
- Works closely with direct reports to guide and manage performance, set goals, provide positive feedback and ongoing training to create an efficient close and reporting process.
- Maintains required records, reports, and files in an organized manner.
- Keeps all sensitive matters confidential.
- Other duties as assigned.

- International experience or background in supporting multi-national businesses is preferred.

- Strong working knowledge of an ERP system.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and proficient with other MS Office applications.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration.
- CPA required.
- Ten or more years of relevant accounting experience, including at least three years in public accounting and/or with a large public company.
- Strong technical accounting skills including knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls.
- Four or more years of experience leading teams to achieve common goals, including supervising direct and/or indirect reports.
Salary : $140,000 - $160,000
