Transaction Specialist

This role ensures the accuracy, efficiency, and security of digital financial transactions by processing, monitoring, and troubleshooting them within a fintech software environment. Key responsibilities include analyzing transaction data, resolving technical issues, providing internal support, and collaborating with other teams like product development and compliance. The role requires a mix of technical skills in software and data analysis, strong problem-solving abilities, and extreme attention to detail.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Transaction management: Monitor high-volume transaction queues, process transactions according to established procedures, and troubleshoot any discrepancies or issues.
• Internal team support: Provide technical guidance and educate internal teams on using our platform and others that we use resolving inquiries and escalations.
• Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including product, compliance, finance, and engineering, to improve workflows and resolve issues.
• Compliance and accuracy: Ensure all transactions and data are handled in compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Problem-solving: Proactively and reactively identify and solve problems related to transaction processing and payment failures.
• Data analysis: Analyze transaction data to identify error and friction trends and inform decisions.
  
  

What You Bring

• Technical skills: Proficiency in software, data analysis, and financial platforms.
• Problem-solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to handle issues independently and as part of a team.
• Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams, and to explain technical concepts and procedures.
• Knowledge: Understanding of financial services, regulations, and fintech trends.
