Role: Junior Software Engineer
Location: Sandy, UT (In-Office, Flexible work options available)
Reports To: Principal Software Engineer
We are seeking a Junior Software Engineer with a focus on Python and Django to join our development team. In this role, you’ll work closely with senior engineers to build features, enhance our platform, and ensure high-quality, maintainable code.
This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer who is eager to learn, grow, and contribute to a high-performance fintech product team.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Develop and maintain software applications using Python; Django experience is a plus.
- Collaborate with a team of developers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge by staying up-to-date with industry trends and technologies.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues within the software.
- Work with other teams to build tools to benefit them and our partners.
What You Bring:
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or an expected graduation date. Equivalent experience may also be considered.
- Experience with Python is essential; extra points if you have worked with Django.
- Experience with relational databases and an understanding of database normalization.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
