- GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION PURPOSE:
Provides administrative and program support to the Faith Formation Team to ensure the effective coordination of parish faith formation programs and sacramental preparation. Assists with record management, registration processes, sacramental documentation, communication with families, and logistical support for programs and events
- ESSENTIAL POSITION DUTIES:
A. Sacramental Records Management
Maintains accurate sacramental preparation records for parishioners, including tracking documentation required for Baptism, First Reconciliation, First Eucharist, and Confirmation.
B. Collection of Sacramental Documentation
Collects, verifies, and organizes sacramental certificates, baptismal records, and other required documentation for sacramental preparation.
C. Registration Processing
Processes registration forms for faith formation programs and sacramental preparation, ensuring records are complete in the parish database.
D. Database Management
Maintains and updates parish database systems with registrations, sacramental records, and family information.
E. Ordering and Supply Management
Maintains an inventory of faith formation materials, catechetical supplies, and program resources; orders additional supplies as needed.
F. Administrative Support
Assists the Faith Formation Team with preparing materials, letters, certificates, forms, and program communications.
G. Program Logistics Support
Provides logistical support for faith formation sessions, sacramental preparation meetings, retreats, and parish formation events.
H. Communications Assistance
Assists with communication to families regarding schedules, requirements, sacramental preparation updates, and program reminders.
I. Office Support
Assists with filing, photocopying, mailings, and general administrative duties related to faith formation programs.
J. Other Duties
Performs other duties as assigned by the Pastor.
K. Front Desk Support
Provides backup for the front desk as needed.

- GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION PURPOSE:
Provides leadership and coordination for Spanish-language sacramental preparation programs within the parish. Oversees the planning, implementation, and administration of sacramental formation for children, youth, and adults in the Hispanic/Latino community. Works collaboratively with clergy, parish staff, catechists, and volunteers to ensure that candidates and their families receive appropriate catechesis, pastoral accompaniment, and preparation for the sacraments. Responsible for program organization, registration processes, sacramental record management, communication with families, and the effective coordination of sacramental celebrations.
- ESSENTIAL POSITION DUTIES:
- Develop, schedule, promote, implement, and evaluate the celebration of the following Spanish-speaking Sacramental Preparation programs:
i. Quinceañera
ii. Baptisms
iii. Marriage Preparation

- Recruit, train, support, and evaluate volunteers for the Hispanic sacramental preparation programs as needed.
- Attend staff meetings, liturgy meetings and other parish meetings as requested
- Develop and implement annual budget and maintain program costs within budget guidelines for Hispanic programs with approval of Pastor and Parish Finance Council.
- Prepares for and teaches classes in specified areas.
- Record retention and certificate preparation for the Hispanic\Latino community
- Maintains a level of knowledge and skills required for this Catholic ministry through regular updating, reading appropriate materials and participation at workshops and conventions. Participates in local, regional, and national professional organizations, as approved and as appropriate.
- Oversees accurate maintenance of program records.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications.
