The position requires coordination in all three programs under 4 The Children’s umbrella and their daily activities. Monitor implementation of program policies and practices. Work to keep programs on schedule and functioning smoothly. Support program growth and development as necessary. This position will require the ability to work and collaborate with diverse community members and professionals in a positive, objective manner. This position will engage in community outreach and building community partnerships. This position will require availability to work evening and weekend hours. This position also requires travel to surrounding counties.

• Hourly (non exempt) – 20 hours per week with a possibility of up to 30 hours a week
• Starts at $18.(no benefits), with room for growth

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1 years of experience in the legal field, volunteer management, human services, social work, psychology, or other related fields.

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining the 4 the Children mission, visions, and values
• Promote the organization through personal contact, literature, and the media.
• Attending trainings and conferences when possible.

is responsible for:

• Overseeing and scheduling supervised visits and safe exchanges between children and parents/caregivers
• Taking relevant and objective notes for visits and exchanges
• Consistently communicating with staff, clients, and volunteers
• Maintaining the smooth daily operations of the program
• Keep the facility clean and organized before and after visits and exchanges
• Ensure all case records are up to date for SEPT clients

is responsible for:

• Being trained as a victim advocate through the Colorado Children’s Alliance and ongoing training related to the position.
• Direct services (crisis intervention, support and referrals) to children, parents, and families who visit the child advocacy center for forensic interviews, forensic medical exams, and/or mental health referrals. This includes providing victim rights information to every client.
• Engaging in a process in which victims are treated with fairness, respect, and dignity as well as freedom from intimidation, harassment, or abuse.
• Providing families with available community resources and links them to those services when needed. This includes assisting clients with understating and completing victim compensation.
• Assisting families in understanding the process and steps that occur during the investigation of the crime. This includes, but is not limited to, helping the victim and family understand: the forensic interview process, the medical exam, how to access mental health services, the role of law enforcement and child protective services, and typical court proceedings.
• Works closely with other victim services agencies in the community to ensure seamless coverage, transition for clients, and non-duplication of services.
• Provides follow-up phone calls for families

is responsible for:

• Working with the CASA Program Director to ensure implementation of the CASA program across all jurisdictions
• Serving as a professional liaison between the court, 4 The Children, and community agencies serving children and families.
• Supervising and evaluating CASA volunteers
• Helping in the preparation and submission of CASA court reports
• Assisting in the ongoing input of all CASA referrals and case records in Optima.
• Ensuring all case records are up to date.

4 the Children’s program coordinator will be responsible for other duties as assigned.
