About the Role:
We’re looking for a Front of House Manager to join our Gainesville team—someone who leads with heart, thrives on great service, and is eager to grow with us. This role is perfect for a high-potential individual who may not have tons of experience yet but brings strong people skills, a desire to learn, and a natural presence in the dining room.
You’ll be hands-on in the restaurant, supporting day-to-day operations with a focus on front-of-house excellence. That includes team leadership, a constant floor presence, and handling key admin tasks like scheduling and payroll assistance.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and inspire the FOH team with a warm, guest-first approach
- Be a strong presence in the dining room—engaging with guests and coaching your team in real time
- Assist with administrative tasks including scheduling and supporting payroll
- Support hiring, onboarding, and training efforts
- Ensure service, cleanliness, and hospitality standards are consistently met
- Help maintain a positive, team-focused culture that reflects the 4 Rivers mission
What You Bring:
- Restaurant or hospitality experience preferred—but attitude, drive, and leadership potential matter most
- A natural leader who communicates well and leads by example
- Organized and reliable with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable with scheduling tools and light administrative responsibilities
- Passionate about guest service and making people feel welcome
- Flexible availability, including weekends and some holidays
