Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. 83 y/o female client is seeking a spanish speaking caregiver. The schedule is 8-12 pm Monday through Saturday.; 24 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for clients, ensuring their comfort and safety in a home or community care setting. Perfect for someone in need of a flexible schedule. Pay rate is $15.00 for PCA. Looking to fill this role starting this week. Duties include:
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Monitor and record vital signs as needed, ensuring any changes in health status are reported to appropriate personnel.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities.
- Observe and document patient behavior and changes in condition, maintaining accurate records of care provided.
- Administer first aid and CPR as necessary, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients at all times.
- Support clients with mobility challenges, assisting them in moving safely around their home or community.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in home care or senior care is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of vital signs monitoring, CPR, first aid, and patient observation techniques.
- Compassionate nature with strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with hospice care practices is a plus.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
