Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and highly organized Personal Assistant and Farm Assistant to support daily tasks and assist with farm operations. This dynamic role combines household duties with hands-on farm duties, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to a vibrant agricultural environment while ensuring smooth home management. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities with enthusiasm and professionalism. The ideal candidate will be motivated and driven to maintain a healthy farm and home environment. This paid position provides a rewarding environment where your organizational skills and farm experience will thrive. The position can range from 20-30 hours per week.
Responsibilities include:
- General household cleaning (laundry, dishes, organizing, some meal prep)
- Grocery shopping
- Taking vehicles for maintenance (ie-oil change, tire services, etc)
- Light yard work (watering plants, pulling weeds, cleaning skimmer basket in pool, scooping dog poop, etc)
- Farm chores including filling water troughs, dragging pastures, bathing livestock, scooping trailers, etc.
- Sweeping garage and porches, maintaining outdoor areas.
- Contribute to farm operations by assisting with planting, animal care, and general maintenance tasks as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace on the farm and in the home environment
- General repairs and upkeep around the property
- Ability to drive a trailer would be a huge plus but not a must.
Experience
- Proven experience as a personal assistant and/or farm assistant
- Hands-on farm experience with equines is a MUST
- Comfortable with canines, felines, horses, and cattle.
