Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Computer and Information Systems Managers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Lead planning, execution, and governance of infrastructure, device discovery, and service mapping programs using Agile methodologies.
- Manage program backlogs, sprint planning, risk registers, dependencies, and delivery schedules across technical workstreams.
- Coordinate with infrastructure, network, security, application, and vendor teams to ensure accurate CMDB data and validated service maps.
- Monitor program health, resolve delivery risks, prepare executive status reports, and drive continuous process improvements.
Minimum Qualifications
The position requires:
Education | Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. |
Experience | 5 years of experience managing enterprise infrastructure or IT operations programs with expertise in Agile delivery, CMDB, and service mapping initiatives. |
Technical Skills | ServiceNow Discovery, ServiceNow Service Mapping, CMDB, Device42, Lansweeper, Agile Scrum, Network Discovery, Project Management |
Business / Domain Skills | IT Operations, Infrastructure Management, Risk Management, Stakeholder Management, Vendor Management, Service Delivery |
Communication | Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders. |
Documentation | Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables. |
Work Authorization | Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements. |
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience building or validating service maps.
- Experience with SNMP, WMI, or agent-based discovery technologies.
- PMP, CSM, or equivalent project management certification.
