Job Summary
The Transportation Coordinator will be responsible for supporting and coordinating transportation activities for 3Z Brands across Glendale, Arizona. This role will assist in scheduling CDL drivers, help ensure DOT compliance, uphold safety and service standards, and work closely with operations and logistics teams to deliver products efficiently and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and coordinate with a team of CDL drivers to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations.
- Assist with scheduling, routing, and daily dispatch to meet delivery deadlines and support cost optimization.
- Track driver performance records, assist with training coordination, and support compliance with company policies.
- Support DOT and FMCSA compliance efforts, including maintaining driver qualification files, logs, and inspection records.
- Coordinate with production, warehouse, and customer service teams to align transportation schedules with business needs.
- Assist with coordinating maintenance schedules for company trucks and trailers in partnership with service providers.
- Review transportation data and help identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Foster a culture of care, commitment, and safety.
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or fleet coordination (manufacturing or distribution environment preferred).
- Working knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience working with CDL drivers or in a fleet environment preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to multitask and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in transportation management systems (TMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- CDL license a plus but not required.
