Job Summary
3Z Brands is seeking a dedicated and technically proficient Information Systems Support team member to provide essential front-line support for our employees across all locations, including manufacturing and corporate offices. This role is responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware, software, and network issues efficiently to minimize downtime. They will manage the IT ticketing system, document solutions, and assist with the deployment and configuration of new equipment and applications. The ideal candidate possesses excellent customer service skills and a strong foundational knowledge of IT infrastructure and enterprise systems.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to all end-users for hardware, software, and network connectivity issues, utilizing a centralized help desk ticketing system.
- Install, configure, and maintain company-owned computer hardware (including Dell products), operating systems (Windows), printers, and mobile devices.
- Manage user accounts and permissions across various enterprise applications and systems, including email, collaboration platforms, and security access controls.
- Assist in the monitoring and routine maintenance of network infrastructure, server operations, and security systems to ensure high availability and performance.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT procedures, troubleshooting guides, and common solutions for internal use and staff training.
- Collaborate with senior IS staff and external vendors on escalated issues, system upgrades, and special technology projects.
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of professional experience in an IT Help Desk or Information Systems support role, preferably within a manufacturing or corporate environment.
- Deep knowledge and troubleshooting expertise with Windows operating systems (10/11) and the Microsoft Office 365 suite.
- Proven ability to support and troubleshoot Dell hardware, including desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
- Foundational understanding of basic programming or scripting concepts; exposure to Java or similar object-oriented languages is a significant asset.
- Experience with server monitoring and diagnostics tools; familiarity with Open Hardware Monitor (OHM) or similar health monitoring tools is a plus.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and patiently to non-technical users.
