Position Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our Finance team. This role supports the day-to-day accounting functions of the organization, with a primary focus on accounts payable and receivable, travel & expense (T&E) processing, and general bookkeeping duties. The ideal candidate is eager to grow their accounting career in a dynamic, multi-brand manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring proper coding and approvals
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Support collections efforts by monitoring outstanding receivables and following up on past-due accounts
- Assist with check runs, ACH payments, and payment scheduling
Travel & Expense (T&E)
- Review and process employee expense reports for accuracy, completeness, and policy compliance
- Verify supporting documentation and ensure appropriate approvals are in place
- Identify and flag out-of-policy submissions and follow up with employees as needed
- Maintain organized records of all T&E activity
General Bookkeeping & Administrative
- Assist with month-end close activities including reconciliations and journal entry support
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in NetSuite and McLeod
- Prepare and format reports in Excel as requested by the Finance team
- Support audits by pulling documentation and organizing records
- Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business; or equivalent work experience
- 1 years of bookkeeping, accounting, or relevant administrative experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, basic formulas)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Preferred
- Experience with NetSuite and/or McLeod Transportation Management System and Ramp
- Familiarity with automated T&E processing and expense policy enforcement
- Experience in a manufacturing, logistics, or multi-location environment
Work Environment
This is a hybrid position based out of our Glendale, AZ headquarters. The role requires on-site presence for key accounting activities, with flexibility for remote work on designated days.
