Position Overview
This role combines business development, operations support, and execution. The current responsibilities reflect the company’s stage today, not its ceiling tomorrow.
You will work closely with the General Manager and Operations Team, help establish systems, support growth, and contribute wherever needed to move the company forward.
As 3T Logistics grows, this role can develop into:
- Sales / Business Development
- Account Management
- Operations Management

What You’ll Be Doing
Business Development & Sales
- Research and identify potential customers and market opportunities
- Build and manage a structured sales pipeline
- Visit prospective customers in person (local and out-of-state as needed)
- Present services, negotiate terms, and sign new contracts
- Build long-term customer relationships in the LTL space

Operations & Administrative Support
- Support driver hiring: candidate screening, interview scheduling, onboarding coordination
- Assist with insurance, claims, and DOT-related documentation
- Support customer onboarding paperwork and compliance processes
- Assist the GM with operational and administrative tasks
- Coordinate with operations, dispatch, and warehouse teams
- Receive shipments and assist with warehouse coordination when required

- Research industries, companies, and lanes for expansion
- Identify new revenue opportunities and partnerships
- Support strategic growth initiatives as the company scales

Qualifications
- LTL experience is required
- Proven experience in business development and/or sales
- Transportation or logistics industry experience required
- Strong negotiation, project management, and planning skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to travel frequently and on short notice

- Minimum 2 years in transportation, logistics, or supply chain roles

Compensation & Schedule
- $25–30/hour, depending on experience
- Commission tied to new business and revenue growth
- Part-time (25 hours/week) or Full-time (40 hours/week)
- Possible car allowance for business travel
