Founded in 2008 in Central Massachusetts, Swarm Basketball has grown into the largest club basketball program in the country. Serving boys and girls in grades 3–12 across multiple skill levels, Swarm now operates in 17 regional locations across 13 states. Our mission is to provide high-level basketball instruction while fostering character, confidence, leadership, and a lifelong love of the game.

Position Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic, dependable, and knowledgeable coaches to lead our Metro West AAU teams during the Fall 2026 season.
Season Commitment
- 8-week season
- Start date: 9/14
- End date: First week of November, 11/9
- Spring Season dates are TBD
- 2 local team practices per week
- 4 tournaments selected by the coach and program leadership
- Opportunity to mentor and develop athletes in a competitive and positive environment
- Plan and lead engaging practices focused on skill development, teamwork, and game concepts
- Coach and mentor players during practices and tournaments
- Create a positive, energetic, and development-focused team culture
- Teach sportsmanship, accountability, and leadership both on and off the court
- Serve as a positive role model for athletes and represent the Swarm program with professionalism
- Communicate effectively with players, parents, and program staff
- Passion for coaching and player development
- Strong understanding of basketball fundamentals and strategy
- Ability to motivate, teach, and inspire young athletes
- Reliable, organized, and committed throughout the season
- Previous coaching and/or competitive playing experience preferred
