Responsibilities
- Conduct tire services such as mounting, balancing, rotation, and replacement with precision and care
- Perform oil changes and automotive fluid replacements to keep vehicles running efficiently
- Assist with minor mechanical repairs including brake inspections, belt replacements, and other routine maintenance tasks
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Diagnose basic automotive issues using diagnostic tools and mechanical knowledge
- Ensure vehicles meet safety standards through alignment checks and mechanical inspections
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and recommending additional maintenance when appropriate
Experience
- Dealership or automotive service experience preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
- Mechanical knowledge of standard passenger cars and basic automotive diagnostics necessary for success in this role
- Prior experience with automotive fluid replacement, oil changes, tire service, and minor mechanical repairs is highly desirable
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, and automotive maintenance equipment is essential
- Service technician experience or similar roles in automotive repair will give you an advantage
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in a physically active environment
- Strong customer service skills combined with a proactive attitude toward vehicle maintenance and sales opportunities
